2012-2017 Toyota Camry Air Filter Replacement

I will be showing you how to replace the air filter and clean up the air-box as well. It’s just a couple extra steps but worth it.

Very quick and easy process that anyone can do. Why waste money at the car shop when you can do it yourself?

1. First start off by detaching these 2 clips.

2. Then unplug the MAF sensor connector by pressing down on the tab and pulling out.

3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the clamp to the air-box.

4. Then slide the top of the air-box out of these 2 plastic holders.

5. Before taking it out make sure to remove this plastic piece holding the wire loom in place.

6. Remove the old dirty filter

7. And clear out any debris left in the airbox with a vacuum

8. Insert the brand new air filter making sure that all corners are securely seated in place.

Now to put everything back it is the reverse of removal

9. Push the top piece into the hose and move it around until these 2 tabs slide into the 2 slots

10. Clip down both sides

11. Tighten down the hose clamp

12. And finally plug in the MAF sensor and attach the plastic clip
